on occasion, my happy listeners will hear a song that they are paritcularly fond of and want to know a little more. i provide live track information, but of course if you’re in your bed with your eyes closed that’s of little help
on the S E B main page, you’ll find an area on the right-side called Latest Playlists. it provides links to the latest three 8-hour playlists, so you can easily check in the morning. all times are Pacific (US & Canada)
but there’s more. the general format for my playlists URLs is:
/ambience/feed/playlist-YYYYMMDD-HH-#HOURS
where
- YYYYMMDD is the start date for your query
- HH is the hour for your query, 24-hour format, Pacific time
- #HOURS is the number of hours to query, maximum of 24
examples:
playlist-20080101-04-6 is everything i played on 2008-Jan-01 between 4a and 10a PST
playlist-20071225-00-24 is everything i played on Christmas Day 2007
feel free to grep my logs accordingly. this is not an industrial strength data set so there are gaps and other issues, but those are rare. if your query ends up showing you my Ambience For the Masses page then it somehow didn’t meet the criteria above
